Specific Need
Our goal is to raise funds to replace the clubhouse roof, protecting this volunteer-built community asset and ensuring the Leonardville Golf Association can continue serving local golfers, guests, youth athletic teams, and community events for years to come.
Mission
Incorporated in 1972 as a nonprofit, the Leonardville Golf Association organizes, owns, operates, conducts, controls, and maintains a community country club, providing entertainment and recreation for players and guests.
Today, the course is proud to serve as the home grounds for the Riley County Falcons cross-country and golf teams, hosting annual home meets, tournaments, and even regional and state competitions.
Our tournament calendar is a true neighborhood tradition, including the popular Nelson Family Community Foundation benefit golf tournament, which welcomes 80 golfers each year. Alongside six other seasonal tournaments—with the most popular being night golf tournament leading the pack—there is never a dull moment on the course.
Built entirely by volunteers, the course remains a true labor of love. Dedicated neighbors and friends still manage, maintain, and improve the grounds to insure it continues to succeed.
