Light Up 66449 is dedicated to making Leonardville brighter and more festive during the Christmas season by raising funds to expand and enhance holiday displays, creating cherished community traditions, and making Leonardville a welcoming destination where residents and visitors can experience the joy and spirit of the holidays.

Light Up 66449 is dedicated to bringing holiday magic and community pride to Leonardville by creating a bright, festive atmosphere each Christmas season. The organization has transformed the downtown area and Highway 24 with lights and beautiful creative lighted displays funded by generous donations, memorials, and community fundraisers.

Founded in 2022, Light Up 66449 is a volunteer-led effort to replace and expand Leonardville’s holiday decorations, making our town a destination where everyone can feel the warmth and wonder of the season.

The annual lighting ceremony, Holiday Hullabaloo, features a lighted parade, Santa’s arrival, a community meal, and the cherished moment when two young artists from the holiday drawing contest flip the switch to illuminate the town.

Through many events, Light Up 66449 raises funds that support these displays and bring neighbors together to celebrate and invest in the joy of community.
