Leonardville Pride

Specific Need

Our goal for Match Day 2026 is to continue improving the Leonardville Community Building. With your help, our funds will be used to assist in the next phase of updating the kitchen. This year we are wanting to purchase a new refrigerator and cover the cost of supplies and materials for the refinishing of the kitchen cabinets.

Generous donations from Match Day 2024 and 2025 allowed Leonardville Pride to make significant progress with newly painted walls, new tables, and updated kitchen countertops and faucets. Additionally, those funds acted as seed money to secure extra funding from the City of Leonardville, which allowed us to install new epoxy flooring throughout the building and construct a new storage unit for local organizations to use.

Mission

Leonardville PRIDE is dedicated to serving our community of approximately 400 through volunteerism and leadership and whose visionary mission is to improve and preserve our future. Our PRIDE committee consists of a passionate and dedicated group of people with very diverse and professional backgrounds, which brings a multitude of ideas in which to sustain, support and celebrate our community.

Profile

Leonardville Pride is a volunteer grassroots effort to improve the quality of life in our community. We assist our community to prepare for the future by building on the past and forming a vision of what they hope to preserve, maintain and create. We encourage community members, businesses and organizations to coordinate and work collaboratively for community betterment.

We are dedicated to fostering a strong sense of community and making Leonardville an even better place to live, work, and raise a family. We achieve this by hosting a variety of annual events that bring people together and create a strong sense of community pride and belonging. These events also provide opportunities for residents to get to know each other, build relationships, and work together to make Leonardville an even better place to call home.
